DESCRIPTION:Please join the Student Conservation Association\, Midwest Grows Green and the Riverdale Park District in kicking off the fall planting season by planting 25 native trees an a pollinator friendly eco-lawn!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nWHEN: Saturday\, September 14\, 9:00 am to Noon. Registration beginning at 8:30 am\, kick-off at 9:00 am. \nWHERE: Please park along S. Atlantic Ave. between Wentworth Ave and 144th St. Look for the Student Conservation Association work truck and trailer as well as the blue pop up tent! Stop by the tent to register! \nWHAT: Volunteers will plant\, mulch\, and water native trees as well as install an eco-lawn. \nBRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. \nPROVIDED: All project supplies (tools\, gloves\, etc.) are provided.
