DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, Jan. 23rd @1-2pm (maybe 2:30pm) \nHave you been thinking of starting a garden in your yard but don’t know\nwhere to start? Join us as we walk you through the first steps to vegetable\ngardening in your own backyard and or community garden plot. We will\ndiscuss best practices for placing plants in a small space\, some companion\nplanting suggestions\, and crop rotation from yr to yr. We will also give\nyou ideas of where to look for openings in community gardens and how to get\ninvolved with existing gardens in the parks. \nThis is part of the Kilbourn Park’s Winter Gardening Zoom Classes seri \n
