[Advocacy-outreach] Forest Preserve program

My name is Katie Moriarty and I work for the Forest Preserves of Cook County.  On Sunday, March 13th from 11am to 1pm at Caldwell Woods Warming Shelter (located at 6350 N. Devon Ave.), we will be hosting a gardening expo promoting sustainable gardening practices.  From 11-12, we will have a vendor fair with local organizations and a presentation by Conservation at Home will follow.  The goal of this program is to connect Chicago residents to resources in the area and encourage more green spaces outside of the forest preserves.   Because of this we would love to have a representative from Chicago Community Gardeners Association to speak with participants to provide alternatives for residents without outdoor space.  Is this something your organization can participate in?
