[Advocacy-outreach] Heartfelt thoughts go out Gina in this time of sorrow.

Hello,

It is with our deepest sadness and heavy hearts that Angela and I take a
moment to inform you, at Gina's request, of the passing of her son,
Chrisean Jamison, 34 of age. Chrisean died unexpectedly Monday morning.
Gina is surrounded by her family, her daughters, her grandson, and she asks
only that you send love and prayers. There are no details yet as to a
service. Angela and I ask that you give her privacy, yet do communicate
your condolences and love and prayers, but not so as to overwhelm her all
at once.

Gina said that what brings her back to life is knowing that Chrisjean, who
was married just last July, was happy and in love.  He said those very
words to Angela as well.

Grief has encompassed our gardening community in losses throughout this
pandemic, through black lives matter, but this loss to Gina is personal,
and personal to all of us.  We know her well, and she is that close to us,
and now we can respond to her with love and affirmation of life. We send
healing our thoughts to Gina.
