Hello,

I hope all is well. My name is Alexis Pastyka and I am a graduate social
work student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In the Fall I will
be starting my specialization year that focuses on organization and
community practice. I will be expected to complete an internship for that
academic year, starting from late August and going till the beginning of
May. This past year, I have grown a strong interest in direct community
outreach and program policy building/reform, especially as it relates to
the environment. During my internship search I have come across the Chicago
Community Gardeners Association and specifically the Advocacy and Outreach
team. Therefore, I am reaching out to see if your organization has any
potential internship opportunities and if we would be able to discuss this

Good Morning,

If any of you very skilled gardeners of many talents can provide what this
Health Services Director needs for the teachers in an early education
program,  please feel free to respond to her if you have questions.

I will respond with a recommendation for contacting the Master Gardener
Program, but if you have other recommendations,  please offer them to her.
I plan to mention  that we are all volunteers with busy lives outside of
gardening  so she may not hear from us other than for suggestions as to
where to find people for the task.
