[Advocacy-outreach] POLLING for Information from CCGA Friends

Greetings CCGA friends,
Reaching out to you for some help and sharing of information.

Maxwell Garden needs to determine how to deal with members who signed an
agreement last season to complete a certain number of volunteer hours and
watering shifts during the season.

Our members have the option to buy-down part of their volunteer hours, but
as we are a community garden that requires a lot of overall maintenance,
they are still required to participate and complete a certain number of
hours.

Obviously, there are exceptions to our base requirement for the elderly or
anyone who has an illness or disabilities.

Also struggling with Board members who fail to follow through on their
volunteer hours and overall commitments, including abandoning their plots
because they are traveling too much to maintain them.

It's not my intent to start a huge "round robin" of responses and clog
everyone's emails.
