It would be best to have these discussions in person. Can someone book the Hatchery? Agenda items will include CCGA Fall Event Series, "How Does Your Garden Grow?" September and October events need CCGA folks to show up just as they would for a conference, workshop or distribution if they can possibly stop by. The spring series barely had a single CCGA face attending at the community gardens that participated. The ad-hoc committee will present the event dates, times and places to ask for volunteers from our committees to attend, help with tabling a CCGA information table, and be a part of what we are. Grant money has been received and a discussion of Go Fund Me and grants would be good. You want to hear this. CEGA Award Ceremony is September 24th and CCGA needs someone to take photos and write this up for the website and FB. More? I am currently working at ICRE-R, Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education at Roosevelt. It is a state school for transition aged(18-22) disabled young adults. We have a wonderful area for gardening that is currently not being utilized at all. We need help getting a program started to do gardening at the school. We are located at the corner of Roosevelt and Damen. I was not sure where to start, but I thought to reach out to your organization. Maybe if you are not the group to help us, you might have some ideas on where else we could look to. I appreciate any feedback.
