Good Afternoon EJ folks, nature lovers, and Chicago neighbors!

You’re invited to a Chicago Activist Social Hour—an evening all about making
connections and strengthening the ties that move our work forward.

Hosted by the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA) and West Lawn
Conservation Club, this informal gathering is open to anyone passionate
about environmental justice, public lands, and grassroots power‑building.
We especially welcome members of BIPOC‑led groups, local organizers, and
anyone looking to meet others who care deeply about people and the planet.

This is a chance to:
✅ Build relationships with fellow activists and community leaders
✅ Share stories, ideas, and upcoming opportunities
✅ Connect our local Chicago efforts to national campaigns—like protecting
Utah’s Red Rock wilderness
✅ Explore ways to collaborate, including around upcoming initiatives
like Latino
Conservation Week
Bring a friend, grab a drink, and join us for good conversation in a space
built on connection, collaboration, and shared purpose.

I look forward to seeing many of you there. In addition, there will be a
presentation on protecting the public lands in Utah at 7.15 PM so be there
on time so you don't miss it!

it!

the event!
