[Advocacy-outreach] Fwd: Garden Clubs of Illinois 2025 Convention

Hi All,

See the email below from Megan Lawrence, it went to the Advocacy mailing
list and no one has responded to my knowledge.  It was a request to have
someone from CCGA sit on a panel. We have a lot of synergy with this group
and the theme of their meeting is what we do.  I told her someone would
respond. Although I brought this up at the January meeting no one discussed
it.

Can someone from Advocacy or Education consider responding? Surely one of
us can represent CCGA. Their event is on April 27-28.

Hello,
My name is Megan Lawrence and I am organizing the Garden Clubs of IL's 2025
Convention, taking place on April 27-28 at the Hyatt Regency in Lisle.
Sunday afternoon of our event we are hosting a panel discussion on our
convention theme "Rooted in Community: Connecting Through Gardens.
Highlighting how gardens and garden clubs can serve as hubs for
community engagement,
education, and environmental stewardship."

I was wondering if there was someone from your organization who might be
interested in being a panelist? The session would be approximately 1  to
1.5 hours. I think there is a lot of overlap between GCI and CCGA and it
could be a very....fruitful event.

information.
