[Communications] Animals & Agriculture Career Day - July 27th, 2019

Good morning! I am writing you on behalf of The Children's Farm in Palos Park. I am wondering if your organization, or perhaps organizations that you have worked with, might be interested in an upcoming event that we are holding.We are a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization that offers a host of enriching programs, where children can handle animals, experience the life of the farm, and embrace agriculture. Part of our mission is to give children the opportunity to experience animals and nature in a way that they might never have before, and hopefully inspire a desire to work with animals in the future.
On Saturday, July 27th, The Children’s Farm is hosting a special event that focuses on the multitude of career and educational options available for those who love animals. We will have many tables set up outside of our pavilion, with a plethora of information about different careers, as well as some fun activities for children. Examples are: Veterinary technicians, Urban farmers, Veterinarians, Horticulturists, Pet Store Owners, Farmers, Dog trainers, Zookeepers, Animal nutritionists, Animal advocacy, etc.

I feel that our organizations have similar interests regarding educating the public on agriculture and thought you might be interested in donating some time to have someone attend the event. It is free to reserve a table and is a great opportunity to outreach for your organization.

It’s our greatest hope that you’ll be able to join us at our Animals & Agriculture Career Day on July 27th from 1pm-4pm for an event that will be unforgettable!

Please let me know if you would like to reserve a table, if you need The Children’s Farm to provide you with anything, and anything you might be bringing. If you have an idea for an activity you would like to host, please let us know. Otherwise, we can brainstorm ideas for something interactive you could have for the public.
