[Communications] A few questions

To whomever receives this,

My name is Theo Davies. I manage an urban farm called Green Leaf Learning Farm in South Memphis and help run a compost non-profit called The Compost Fairy. Being involved with both I know the joys and pitfalls of what you all are trying to accomplish around Chicago.

I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister and brother-in-law. They live in Budlong Woods, just northwest of Lincoln Square. They eat enough produce (but could arguably eat more) and generate a fair amount of organic material that could be composted but they do not want to compost it at their house because of the smell and flies and yaddah yaddah (lame excuses in my opinion). Are there any community gardens that they could take it to as a contribution to the cause of sustainability? Also, could they possibly patronize these gardens? On top of needing to get outside they need more produce in their diet and to contribute to their greater community.

Any help given would be appreciated. Feel free to call or e-mail me with a response. Thank you!
