Good Morning,

We usually are able to come up with an apt, good quote for our
newsletter.. For this issue I thought it important to come up with
something that combines gardening with some response to the unfair
realities afflicting many people and especially youth, Black and Brown. I
don't think any of these suit us, but it's a start if someone wants to do
some searching.

“We cannot force someone to hear a message they are not ready to receive.
But we must never underestimate the power of planting a seed.”....Author

When the world wearies and society fails to satisfy, there is always the
garden.” .... Minnie Aumonier , early 20th century poet

The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with
nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just the body, but the
soul....Alfred Austin

“You have fallen apart
Just to come back together
And look how beautiful
You have become.”

Ariana Dancu, poet
