[Communications] CCGA summer newsletter - draft sent for review - need help and input

Hi all,

I’ve just sent you a draft of the newsletter for review. 
I’m so sorry this has taken such a long time to compile, I’ve been juggling so much this summer, as I know we all have!

Here are a few notes on the draft where content, feedback and help is needed:

Hydrant Policy and Survey:
Please edit this info with the latest about the hydrant situation - I am out of the loop!

Covid-19 resources:
I’m still making updates to the CCGA website and will drop the content in asap today. This will include a garden sign with Covid-19 safety tips

El Paseo:
I need to post the rest of their article on the website - will do that today.

North Lawndale Slumbusters workdays:
Kimberly - Is there a new volunteer form link for upcoming workdays?

Maxwell Street:
I created a Next Gen image gallery with all of Marsha’s photos, but cannot figure out how to insert it into he website post! Can you help, JW or Lorraine? The gallery is called 'Maxwell Street 2020’

Once the gallery is inserted, I can send this to Marsha for a quick review as she requested.

Resources Committee wrap up:
Do we have an estimate of the total number of plants distributed this summer? 

Please review this content and send any additional info for the JULY distributions (see website post). 

I only included one image in the newsletter and the rest are on the website. I created a NextGen image gallery with several images and captions pulled from Facebook. JW or Lorraine, could you insert it into the post? I could not figure out how to do it. Under the NextGen plug in, It’s called “Resources Committee Distributions 2020”

Also, I think there is an annual report for the resources committee that needs to be published to the website. I do not have the file. If someone can send it or has it, we can link to it at the foot of the web post.

Upcoming events:
Are there other events to include here? If so, please send them along or include them in the email draft.
We can also link to the CCGA calendar (which should be updated)

I will be checking email, but I really need help to finish up. My time is going to be limited starting tomorrow through Sept 8.
