Warm Greetings to my Faith in Place Green Teams, Faith and Collaborative Environmental Partners,
It is with sheer delight that I have been granted an opportunity to spend some considerable amount of time in 2020 to explore deeper my interest in womanist and ecological spirituality. Both my academic and professional background in Gender and Religion have continued to inform my work and how I navigate through my life. However as a practitioner it is very difficult to make time to pause and dive deeper into the scholarship that I love so much.
During my time away I look forward to reading, interviewing other Eco Women, attending and developing related workshops and lectures that stir my soul and support other women.
Finally, I also look forward to some intentional rest, exercise, relaxation and reflection about how I can integrate this interest into my work as an EcoWomanist.
I will miss you all. However, do know that you will not be without your Faith in Place support!
