Let your love grow with a visit to see our Spring Flower Show 'Golden Hour'. Looking for date night plans? Head to Inspiration Kitchens before or after your visit! Spring Flower Show opens Friday! In celebration of the opening of our Spring Flower Show and Valentine's Day the Conservatory will be open 9am-8pm on Friday, February 14. The 2020 exhibit Golden Hour celebrates the golden light of dawn and dusk with a focus on the effects of the sun and other celestial bodies on plants using colorful displays of azalea, hydrangea, and calibrachoa. Special features this year include immense hanging baskets overflowing with spring flowers, and two rope-art displays depicting the vibrant rays of the sun. Share your photos with us and use #goldenhourgpc! Looking for date night plans? Eat your heart out with a special prix-fixe dinner at Inspiration Kitchens before or after your visit! Inspiration Kitchens is offering a special 3-course prix-fixe menu – $30 per person. Click here to make a reservation. Join us for Sweet Saturday! Sweet Saturday Saturday, February 15 from 12pm-3pm Cost: entrance to the Conservatory is free with a suggested donation of $10 per adult and $5 per child / FREE for GPCA members. Discover new tropical treats and taste your way through the fruits and vines of the Garfield Park Conservatory. This drop-in event will let your whole family try some sweet treats while learning about plants in our collection. Join us for crafts and activities for all ages! Featured plants will include: coffee vanilla chocolate lemon papaya banana prickly pear cinnamon ginger Make sure to check out our kid-chef friendly cooking demonstration with food from Imperfect Produce.
