I agree with you May, and I respect how committed you are to community
gardens. I think the motion can be more clear. I was just testing some
wording.
To more inclusively respond to the needs and requirements of community
gardens which are non-commercial and neighborhood growing organizations, as
pertains to the city water hydrant policy on the hydrant cap assembly, back
flow preventer and hydrant keys & installation and inspection, CCGA
supports a survey of gardens affected by this new policy and advocates for
policy changes and resources for those gardens in a cooperative manner.
