Take in a heavy dose of peace, calm, and relaxation this season in a show full of nature therapy themes. Pink poinsettias help calm anxiety while plants with silver foliage relax the mind. Pleasant scents remind visitors of the outdoors and provide aromatherapy. Free Reservations Required: Due to limited capacity reservations are required and we strongly encourage making them online in advance to ensure the date and time you wish to visit is available. Hear how she’s been using fabrics and dance forms from India to help us see native plants in a new light, and get an insight into the inspiration and DIY process behind these looks. We'll teach them about the Winter Flower Show plants through stories and will get their whole bodies moving, and end with a sit down, socially distanced story time. Shop Online or In-Person Bring an Accessible Children's Garden to the West Side The Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance is raising funds to completely renovate the 6,000 square-foot indoor children’s garden - a year-round, accessible adventure for Chicago families. A wheel-chair accessible spiral ramp makes its way up to the top of the historic glass roof, with a one-of-a-kind climber, specially designed for the Conservatory. Be part of this transformational new Children’s Garden and help grow the next generation of champions of the natural world. Help Build a New Children's Garden COMMUNITY CORNER Holiday For The West Side Youth Sunday, December 19; 11am-2pm Earth Remedies and the West Side Collective is hosting a winter wonderland experience at the Conservatory for the local Garfield Park community and people who live in West Side neighborhoods. Registration is full however you can donate by 12/12 at various drop-off locations throughout the city to help support this event! The December 11 event at The Hatchery will be the perfect time to get in some last-minute shopping from local artisans and food vendors for the holidays. ⁠ Help Support West Side Businesses With the holidays around the corner, we hope you visit the Garfield Park Neighborhood Virtual Market!
