Chicago Women In Trades Tour
Commissioner DuBuclet toured the Chicago Women in Trades facility. Chicago Women in Trades (CWIT) as organization is driven to ensure that all women who want to work with their hands and earn a good living have equal access to information, training, and employment opportunities in the industry.
CWIT has been supporting, advocating, and training women in the Chicagoland area for the last 40 years. They are a Sisterhood of Tradeswomen, celebrating their graduates and their successes in building new careers for themselves while spearheading an industry movement.

NAACP 2021 Environmental Recap
"Where Do We Fit In"
Commissioner DuBuclet participated on a panel with John Delurey, Ryan O'Donell and other Environmental advocates for the NAACP's 2021 Environmental Recap. Commissioner DuBuclet discussed the work of the MWRD and how the implementation of the Illinois Clean Jobs Act (CEJA) can benefit black and brown communities which are disproportionately affected by pollution.

Fiscal Year 2022 Budget Signing
On December 16th MWRD's Board of Commissioners passed a balanced budget for the upcoming fiscal year. As chairman of the Labor Relations committee Commissioner DuBuclet had the opportunity to sign several collective bargaining agreements between the union membership at MWRD.
Commissioner DuBuclet would like to thank our dedicated staff for their efforts throughout the year and look forward to a prosperous upcoming year. It was an honor to be one of the signers on the budget and the new labor agreement.

Green Explorers Club "Project Boxes"
Green Explorers Club teaches kids the tools of sustainability while building a healthy curiosity for life sciences and the environment. They explore sustainability through hands-on experiments and activities that demonstrate the importance of taking care of our planet. They take kids out into nature and explore the world hands-on through experience.
However, for kids who want to try
Green Explorers Club at home, or families who do not live close to their Chicago location, their project boxes are the next best thing. Every project box contains activities used in their studio with the fantastic kids who join their camps and classes every year. Their project boxes are designed for kids ages 4-9 years.
