you. On the signup you can enter Wicker Park Advisory Council if you are an

Event Coordinator for our Park. Also, if you volunteer in others parks -
just enter that data for that park into the registration form.

with you and our WPAC Board & Park Staff to draft a Submission for the
Grant.

Please join the Chicago Park District, in partnership with the Chicago
Parks Foundation and our PAC partners on Saturday, March 6 for the 2021
Park Advisory Council Conference! While we won’t be gathering in person,
the virtual PAC Conference will filled with sessions to help you continue
helping your parks virtually and in person. A Planning Committee,
 comprised of CPD and CPF staff, and Park Advisory Council members from
across the city, worked together to curate a series of dynamic sessions
including personal empowerment, pivoting programming due to COVID to
collaborating and innovation in special events and programs.

More than 300 dedicated park volunteers will assemble online for a virtual
version of our annual conference to learn best practices from experts,
network with their fellow PAC members, and be inspired by the work Park
Advisory Councils are doing in parks across Chicago.



In addition to the keynote address and closing session, this year’s
conference will feature nine workshops presented by panelists including
Chicago Park District and Chicago Parks Foundation staff, professionals in
their field, and fellow PAC members.

The Connecting Communities Award
<https://www.chicagoparksfoundation.org/ccaward2021> is designed to spread
positive park energy and foster a lasting community presence within Chicago
parks. Three awards of $500 each will be presented at the 2021 PAC
Conference to one Park Advisory Council from each region (North, Central,
South) to support a community event, project, or program within your park.
