[Communications] Become a gardener

Margaret,

There are undoubtedly community gardens that would welcome a new member.
To help you with this, we'd like to know in what zip code you live, and are
you willing to travel outside of your neighborhood if there is no
nearby garden accepting new members.  You would likely have the choice of
putting your name on a waiting in that case,  but many community gardens
welcome volunteers to help water and maintain communal spaces even if you
can't start growing right away.
