Beer Under Glass Returns Friday, August 27 11th Annual Beer Under Glass Session I | Friday August 27 | 3pm-6pm Session II | Friday August 27 | 7pm-10pm Price | $75 Beer Under Glass is back! This special edition craft beer fundraiser with Illinois Craft Brewers Guild returns to the Garfield Park Conservatory on Friday, August 27th! This summer’s fundraiser invites attendees to sample craft beer while enjoying exclusive, after-hours access to the Conservatory’s indoor collections and outdoor gardens. Pours from 70+ local breweries will be available outdoors during two limited tasting sessions, each with 1,000 attendees to allow for social distancing. The Conservatory's indoor collections will be available for self-guided tours. Plus, attendees will get access to the special exhibit Still Life in Real Life: Charles Ethan Porter in the Artist's Garden. The garden will be filled with fruits and flowers that can be found in the still life paintings of African American artist Charles Ethan Porter; including strawberries, carnations, violets, sunflowers and much more. TICKETS ON SALE 7/23 TICKET INFORMATION General admission tickets will be available on Friday, July 23. GPCA members get early access to tickets beginning Tuesday, July 20. Food and beverages from some of Chicago's best local restaurants and food trucks will be available for purchase throughout the gardens.
