Subject: Invitation to participate in survey to help shape GPCA’s future

Hello,

My name is Mattie Wilson, and I am the Director of Programs for the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance (GPCA). As a plant conservatory, our mission is to change lives through the power of nature. We aim to meet our mission through educational and enriching programming and events for visitors and the community. We understand that we have room to grow in serving the Garfield Park community and hope to hear your input.

To move this work forward, we are working with Justice Informed<http://www.justiceinformed.com/>, a Chicago-based social impact consulting firm. The goal of this collaboration is to learn how we can better serve the Garfield Park community. That's where you come in as a partner in this community and work. We are inviting you to take a survey facilitated by Justice Informed<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LBXLC5V> to understand your expectations, experience, and exposure to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; perspective on how GPCA can improve its relationships with the broader Garfield Park community; and ensure the Conservatory provides an equitable and accessible experience for visitors or program attendees.

This survey is entirely anonymous and only the Justice Informed team will have access to the anonymized responses. We anticipate that this survey will take 10 minutes of your time and it must be completed in one sitting. We ask that you please submit your responses no later than the end of the day on June 22nd. One final note: Please do not share this email invitation with your peers.

On behalf of the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance board and staff, thank you for your consideration, and we hope you will join us in this community engagement process to help shape the Garfield Park Conservatory's future. If you have any questions, please email Anna Radoff at anna at justiceinformed.com<mailto:atanna at justiceinformed.com>.
