Hi everyone,
I drafted a welcome letter for the reception area of our event. This is the first thing people see along with our master schedule once they enter. I’m creating a couple of pdf downloads: a schedule at a glance and a Hopin tips page. I would really love to also have these in Spanish. I was thinking of asking Emilia, Anai and Raquel unless you know someone who can quickly translate for us!
Could you take a look and add some life to the first paragraph? I’ve reached the end of my creative writing abilities, lol.
I’m going to put this draft copy in the event so we can see how it works, but PLEASE help me edit this.
I included a screen capture of what it looks like in the event.
Thanks!
Amy
…..
Welcome, gardeners!
We’re so excited to have you here today with us on this first day of Spring. This will be our 8th annual gathering of community gardeners, and it looks quite different than conferences in the past. You’ll be on your own for lunch, but you didn’t have to travel. You’ll still be able to connect with many familiar faces through this virtual platform. As you look ahead to the growing season and to a summer that may feel somewhat normal again, we hope you’ll discover deeper connections and take away ….
We want to thank all of the amazing presenters and speakers, for sharing your time and expertise with the CCGA community through your informative, thought-provoking, and inspiring presentations and videos.
