Hi all,
I received the latest NeighborSpace newsletter from Erik this morning and wanted to share this important info about GFM Charity.
We already have an account set up on GoFund Me and can update the CCGA info on that platform as we close the GFM Charity account later this year.

After only a year of launching their charity platform, gofundme charity will be shutting down <https://charitysupport.gofundme.com/hc/en-us/articles/360054900012-The-Future-of-GoFundMe-Charity> and merging back into their main fundraising program GoFundMe.com. Unfortunately, your charity campaigns will not be transferred automatically to GoFundMe.com. Fundraisers must recreate any ongoing fundraisers to continue raising money on GoFundMe.com <https://www.gofundme.com/>.
We realize a lot of gardens are actively collecting plot fees, garden dues or raising funds for this growing season and for now we recommend continue using the charity platform throughout these next couple Spring months. Hopefully things in the gardens begin to settle into place by June and you'll be able to recreate your fundraising account on GoFundMe.com <https://www.gofundme.com/>
For those garden groups interested in raising funds online for the first time, please create your campaign directly through GoFundMe.com <https://www.gofundme.com/> and be sure to select "NeighborSpace" as the nonprofit you'll be raising funds for. Below are some important dates you'll need to know:
March 31, 2021 - Last day that GoFundMe Charity supports third-party integrations (salesforce, eventbrite, constant contact, etc.)
June 30, 2021 - Last day to create a new campaign on GoFundMe Charity
September 30, 2021 - Last day to accept donations online via GoFundMe Charity campaigns and donate buttons. Last day for recurring donations to process.
December 31, 2021 - Final day GoFundMe Charity will be available. Be sure to export important GoFundMe Charity donor and fundraiser data and content before then! Learn how to download data here. <https://charitysupport.gofundme.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035198052-How-to-download-donor-mailing-addresses-and-registration-form-answers>
More information on this transition can be found HERE <https://charitysupport.gofundme.com/hc/en-us/articles/360054900012-The-Future-of-GoFundMe-Charity> or you can send an email to our stewardship coordinator to discuss your specific gofundme charity campaign account: stewardship at neighbor-space.org <mailto:stewardship at neighbor-space.org>
