[Communications] Local Girl Scouts need your help, water conservation film

[Turner Fair]

Good afternoon,

We are a small independent team of Indianapolis filmmakers reaching
out today about a heartwarming, local water resource protection and
conservation story.

We have partnered with Indiana Humanities Waterways Film Project and local
non-profit Kheprw Institute to film a neighborhood documentary called Water
Scouts. Water Scouts follows Girl Scout Troop 2715 as they lead local
activists on a mission to explore their neighborhood's natural resources
and protect from destruction throughout summer 2021.

This environmental coming-of-age-story reveals Hoosiers' layered
relationship with place, home, and identity by digging into our actions and
treatment of our neighborhood and it's natural resources.

Our film's creative approach gives voice to people of color that are
independently striving to make an impact in their environment and showcases
the underreported diversity in the mission to protect and conserve critical
Indiana waterways.
