[Communications] Dry season's effect on gardening

Hi Clare,

It certainly has been dry! That rain on Saturday was welcomed and wonderful. We have not heard anything from specific gardeners this spring, but for gardeners with water access challenges, it has been especially hard without much rain. For gardeners with access to water, the lack of rain paired with the strong sun and wind has meant watering spring plants and tender newly-planted seedlings more frequently. We had a lot of snowfall this past winter which really gave our trees and large perennial plants deep hydration.

If you’d like to talk more about it, let us know!

I'm hoping to talk with someone from CCGA about how this is affecting gardening, especially pandemic gardening. Feel free to give me a call at 614-563-5862 if you have some time to chat!
