[Communications] CCGA fall newsletter update

Hi everyone,

(Hi Caitlin and Mary Fran! You indicated you wanted to see the newsletter)

I’m still working on the newsletter, I ran out of steam after the meeting last night and have a busy afternoon today.
Can we aim for Friday to send this out? I can have the draft ready tonight for you to review.

Here’s a quick list of what I still need to do:
Update the Advocacy & Outreach text on the website.
Add a post on the website for the Native Garden Registry ordinance and link in newsletter.
Update Julie’s rat resource doc and refresh PDF
Add photos from Oct 1 CCGA Resources distribution (do web post)
Add harvest pics (do web post)
Add Green Corps job posting (do web post)
Add upcoming events and next mtg info
Garden list update blurb idea:
The CCGA communications team will be reaching out to community garden leaders to update your contact and garden info as we develop a few new helpful tools for gardeners! 

What info do we need for each garden?

Garden name
Garden address with zip
Garden leader name
Garden leader contact info (phone and/or email)

I still think we could create a Google form that links to a spreadsheet. Whether we provide the form link to the gardeners or we fill out the form for them, I feel it would make the data entry easier.

I’m out for the afternoon but will be back online this evening to finish this up!
