Hi everyone!

Just a reminder that today the last day to participate in the We Will
Chicago public surveys, if you haven't already done so:

www.wewillchicago.com/surveys

The above link contains each of the pillar surveys, including the
Environment, Climate & Energy pillar. Each survey takes about 10 minutes,
and remember that you can include your thoughts in the *comment box* at the
end of the surveys!

Here's a digital version of the *draft WeWill plan*:

For reference, below are links to the presentations from the *Visioning the
Future for our Gardens* workshop on Saturday, Sept. 17.

*May Toy's* presentation contains a comparison of Chicago with other large
cities showing level of support for community gardens. Pages 19-25
highlight areas of the WeWill pillars that intersect with community
gardening (and urban agriculture) including Environment, Climate & Energy,
Public Health & Safety, Housing & Neighborhoods, and Community & Civic
Engagement:

*Molly Doane's* presentation highlights her extensive research about the
positive effects of community gardens on community wellbeing:

We’re planning to host a round table soon to continue the discussions we
started at the workshop. Stay tuned for next steps!

In kindness,
