Hi Renee,

Happy Spring! You sent us a message recently via Facebook Messenger about help with your lot, and I wanted to share a couple of resources with you. Perhaps you already know about these programs:

Chicago Community Growers Program

This is a program that is funded by the City of Chicago Community Development Block grant. It's an opportunity for support for urban agriculture projects - for growers with some experience who already have land or are seeking land. There are info sessions happening this month and the deadline to complete the application is April 1.

AUA Technical Assitance for Water Access
https://www.auachicago.org/wateraccess/ <https://www.auachicago.org/wateraccess/>

Fill out the form for technical assistance with all methods of water access (sharing, catchment, hydrant access, water lines), MOA writing, custodian cap removal, and general assistance.

Please let us know if this helps and if you need other support.

In kindness,
Amy
