Hello Deb,

Thanks for contacting us again. I’ll have to take a look at the volunteer
form and I’ll follow-up with our team to make sure we are all receiving
these requests and they are being handled. As to your question.,,

If you are a gardener then you should look to get involved with a community
garden near where you live. Individual community gardens are the fabric of
what we do at CCGA. We are an umbrella group of volunteers that exists to
support community gardens. I can help you find a garden, just call me at
312-498-3889 or email me back and tell me what neighborhood you live near.
There are gardens in the city that are looking for help, it is just a
matter of matching you up with the right one.

Otherwise if you want to help or volunteer at a higher level you can get
involved with CCGA. We have 4 working groups which you could join and we
always need more folks to get involved. Check our website again, look under
the menu item ‘Who We Are’ and you will see the 4 working groups that need
more volunteers. We meet once a month on the 3rd Tuesday at 7pm online and
I can send you the invite for our next meeting if you want to attend.

Hope that helps and let me know if you want help finding a garden to work
with.
