Vice President du Buclet in the Community
-----------------------------------------
Earth Day Events
Earth Day is always a great way to get out into the community! This year I was happy to hand out tree samplings at State Representative Will Davis' Electronic Recycling Event. I also had the opportunity to help teach others about sustainable water practices in South Holland at the CHaRM Center Opening (located at South Suburban College) and Resource Fair (before we got hailed out!).
21st Ward Town Meeting
I was able to stop by Alderman Howard Brookins and Alderman Elect Ronnie Mosely's 21st Ward Town Hall meeting to share more about what MWRD does and how we can help members of the community.
Chicago Urban League Annual Summit
I had the honor to attend and speak at the 2023 Chicago Urban League Summit. This year's theme revolved around Equity in Clean Energy and Water. Thank you to President Freeman-Wilson for the opportunity to join this important discussion.
