Enter your Chicago garden now!     You're looking at the wrap up to our 2022 awards ceremony. And that's why the Chicago Excellence in Gardening Awards (CEGA) exists: to create a special, joyous community of gardens--and the people who create them--that change neighborhoods and lives in our wonderful city. Since 2017, we have honored 225 Chicago gardens with certificates and unique all-weather signs, and we're pleased to announce that our FREE and not-for-profit program is once again back for the 2023 growing season. We're accepting entries now through June 30. You're receiving this newsletter because you have entered our competition in the past, you have expressed interest in our program, or you are a public entity with which we have previously communicated. We welcome your entry. You could be here! We're going to keep this short and sweet. If you're a Chicago gardener, we want you to submit an entry. We want to celebrate your growing season with us on September 24, 2023 at Wild Blossom Meadery & Winery on Chicago's South Side, whether your garden is in your backyard or parkway or on your roof or if your garden is at a school or church or business or is a community garden or even an urban farm.
