Hello AUA Community <Community at auachicago.org>,

I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out to you today regarding
our Soil Pilot Program. This pilot soil testing program is designed for
farms and market gardens on the South and West side of Chicago (or Cook
County) who are primarily led by Black, Brown, and Indigenous people,
LGBTQ+, women, veterans, and/or are disabled led/focused. We are doing our
last round of testing: the first one was completed in the spring and now
the second cycle is open again for the fall. We are reaching out to you
today to let you know that the request form on our website is open and we
are taking requests. We hope you can take time to look at our website and
consider filling out the form for an opportunity to be selected as a
potential participant.

Please complete this form to be considered for testing. We will be
selecting 30 participants for the second cycle. Soil samples will be taken
in the month of October and early November with the intention to receive
your results in late December and/or January (depending on when your
samples were submitted).

Through the program you will receive free soil testing with A&L Great
Lakes, Logan Labs, and Stat Analysis. As well as result interpretation
support from Dr. Akilah Martin and Dr. Israel, two soil scientists doing
amazing work in Chicago!

Once you have filled out the form someone from our soil team will contact
you regarding eligibility. Please feel free to share this information with
anyone in your network, we hope to reach as many farms and gardens as
possible. If you have any questions please to don’t hesitate to contact us
