Hi,

Yes it would be great if you can attend this event and pick up Mamie. I've
attached the flyer to get all the information to you.  So let her know,
please.

You've probably caught up with other email by this time and see that I've
requested the conference room from Mary Fran for our meeting Tuesday at the
Hatchery as we will have guests as weell as new people, and please include
new people,  Adolfo Castrejon, westlawnconservationclub at gmail.com and the
person who most recently requested attending, Tiffany Mankowski, a new
gardener in Hyde Park  tiffanyabeard at gmail.com


The guests at our meeting are Anne O’Brien, a Senior Performance Analyst
with the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General, and Amy Dupuis. OIG
is conducting an audit of the Department of Streets and Sanitation’s Bureau
of Rodent Control, and they’re hoping to align their audit objectives with
the issues most important to residents and gardeners. They've reached out
to ask if they could meet with CCGA to hear our members’ perspectives on
City rat abatement services, alternative pest management strategies, and
any other topics of interest for community gardeners across Chicago.  This
is the start of a conversation with them about a possible CCGA workshop in
November or December.  They will be at the top of the agenda as they must
leave at 7pm.
