Happy August to all of you! This summer has flown by with plenty of fun community events to keep busy! I am excited to continue connecting with some of you throughout the rest of this month. I had a chance to hear from many of you at our Town Hall Event last Friday. If anyone has any additional thoughts or feedback to share after that event please feel free to reach out to my team.

 

As we head into the beginning of the school year, there are several upcoming back to school events that offer some important free health resources and giveaways. If you need school supplies or to get a health exam for your child this may be a great opportunity for you! I am excited to keep this amazing summer energy going into the start of the school year!

I want to take a moment to thank all of you for attending our Post-Session Town Hall last week. I really enjoyed connecting with some of you at the event. It was great to answer questions and talk about some of the important work we did this session.

Senator Mattie Hunter and Robert Peters are hosting along with Representative Kim Buckner and myself a Community Blood Drive. We strongly encourage and appreciate anyone who is able to donate blood.
