Little Store Events

Our most recent Family Movie Night at our store front, on 5254 S. Ashland,
was such a wonderful night! It was a full house with 30 people in
attendance to watch Migration, enjoy popcorn and nacho cheese, laughter and
of course fresh vegetables and a free raffle!

It’s FINALLY time to plant more seeds!!


We know that the beautiful weather and warm days are short in Chicago,

so we need to take advantage of the beautiful days we have.



Last year we did 15,000 seedlings, plus the direct seeds.

This year Star Farm is adding another site to our acreage, so the amount of
the seedlings will increase.

We continue to distribute produce to food pantries in the community at Casa
Catalina, New Eclipse, and Christ Temple

as well as Local Foods.
