[Communications] Research Collaboration Request for Ripon College Catalyst Project

Dear the Chicago Community Gardeners Association,

I hope you’re doing well! My name is Sean Tracy, and I am currently a
student at Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin. I am taking a class entitled
Catalyst 300, a problem-solving seminar in which teams of students work on
semester-long research projects to address open-ended problems. Along with
four of my classmates, we are focusing on combating the issue of urban
flooding in Chicago. Our group is specifically interested in the
implementation of rooftop gardens and green infrastructure in urban areas.
Ideally, we are exploring the idea of these rooftop gardens being part of a
larger community-led and oriented project. We think that your knowledge
would be a great help to our research and we would appreciate your feedback
on this project.
