[Communications] Invitation to Share Our Inaugural Garden Party September 2st

Good afternoon, Chicago Community Gardeners Association Communications Department!
My name is Felicia Apprey, and I’m the Kehrein Center for the Arts (KCA) publicist. We would be thrilled if the Chicago Community Gardeners Association could help us promote our exciting upcoming event—The Inaugural Garden Party, a celebration honoring women who champion community arts. In return, we’d be more than happy to share your events with our audience as well!
The Garden Party will occur on Saturday, September 21st, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the KCA Courtyard. The event will feature:

  *   Bouquet-making with Summer's Ark Flower Company
  *   Tea-making with Roots & Firewater Tea Company
  *   Breathwork and essential oils-making with Opulence Soap Company

All of these activities are led by Black, woman-owned businesses. Additionally, we’ll enjoy light fare, afro beats by DJ Akari, and a live performance by Neo Soul artist Tiaybe Bledsoe!
