Viviana,
Glad you were able to pick up plants. I have included JW Glass on
this reply as well as other members of the Communications Team. We do
have a feature on our website where individuals and groups can
volunteer to help out in our gardens. Honestly I'm not sure how to
connect you with those volunteers, so I'm hoping JW or someone on the
team will respond and tell you how to get in touch with them.
You might also reach out to neighboring community gardens or church
groups. There is a garden at 1420 N Monticello Avenue. This
ornamental (non-food producing) garden is maintained by volunteers
from the community for the beautification of the park and enjoyment of
park patrons. You might want to reach out to those volunteers by
contacting Breanne, and I've included her in this email.

If you could plan ahead although very soon as well, there is a form
you might want to use to get volunteers.

If you register your school garden now, even if it is yet to be built, you will receive perennial plants that can be used. You can plant them and transplant them. It's a good start to what could be a pollinator bed supporting butterflies and insects in your school garden. I've attached the flyer, please register soon.
