Hi all – please share with anyone you think may be interested.



We are recruiting 12 seasonal (9 months beginning mid-April) Ecological
Restoration Technician positions as part of the Garden’s Stewardship and
Ecology of Natural Areas (SENA) program. As a participant in our SENA
program, about 80% of your time will be dedicated to natural areas
stewardship within the Garden’s lakes, shorelines, prairie, river, and
woodland natural areas. The remaining 20% of time will be comprised of
career development training, including activities such as scientific
explorations that support the care of natural areas, inclusive leadership
training, as well as other collaborative opportunities between internal and
external partners. All positions are based at the Chicago Botanic Garden in
Glencoe, IL. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m.
to 3 p.m. Starting at $18+/hr plus $50/wk travel stipend. Positions are
open at https://www.chicagobotanic.org/jobs, and we will begin reviewing
applications on 1/21/25 until they are all filled.
