Hello,
I hope this finds you well! I am a Senior Manager at the Metropolitan Planning Council working on an assessment around zoning and land use in Chicago<https://metroplanning.org/projects/zoning-land-use-assessment/#zoning-assessment-research>. One of the outcome areas we are exploring is productive land use, examining how land use in the city aligns with community needs. Vacant land is a large piece of this, and we are hoping to better understand formal and informal uses of vacant land with an interest in urban agriculture and community gardens. I was hoping to utilize (and credit) data from the CCGA Community Garden Map. Are you able to share the underlying data for the mapping tool, or have suggestions on complementary datasets for this type of work? If helpful I'm happy to find time to chat further! (I wasn't sure which committee was more appropriate for this request, pardon the double email!)
Thanks,
Alec Singer, AICP (they, them, theirs)
