Part of the <a href="https://instituteofculturalaffairs.cmail20.com/t/j-l-miljlld-trtrdlktku-u/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fourth Annual Uptown Garden Walk</a>, this bike ride invites community members to explore coastal and native plants in the Uptown area. From immersive natural areas to plants thriving in urban landscapes, this ride highlights the richness of Chicago's urban green space.
The ride starts at <a href="https://instituteofculturalaffairs.cmail20.com/t/j-l-miljlld-trtrdlktku-o/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary</a> and ends at <a href="https://instituteofculturalaffairs.cmail20.com/t/j-l-miljlld-trtrdlktku-b/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Argyle Night Market</a>.
Bikes, Birds, and Butterflies is part of CSLN's Nourish (comm)Unity series, and is organized by the <a href="https://instituteofculturalaffairs.cmail20.com/t/j-l-miljlld-trtrdlktku-n/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Institute of Cultural Affairs</a>, Uptown Coastal Initiative, and <a href="https://instituteofculturalaffairs.cmail20.com/t/j-l-miljlld-trtrdlktku-p/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">animalia project</a>.
<em> Nourish (comm)Unity II</em> is a collaborative events series organized by Chicago Sustainabilty Leaders Newwork . Events will explore how community gardens create food, how biking can connect local assets, and how technology can bridge generations. The multi-disciplinary events span the city, welcoming community members to meet their neighbors, learn from local experts, and experience the variety of ways sustainable initiatives truly nourish their communities.
CSLN meetings are always free and open to the public. Our work depends on participation and collaboration from a diverse cohort of dedicated Chicagoans, so please come out and share your work and ideas with us!
