What is the difference between the Resources Committee giving tools away on the 7th of March than two-three weeks later at the conference? It is the same idea about sustainability and not having the Resources/CCGA have the same reputation that we are trying avoid at the conference. This is the second time this has happened. This was the situation at the 2018 conference which prompted me to look for funding and Cordia to prepay for the tools. If the idea that sustainability is the issue then I would think that the Resource Committee shouldn't give tools away for the fear of being viewed in the same manner as is being proposed about the conference. </div><div><br clear="none"></div><div>Just trying to understand the difference. At the meeting we had at Whitney Young when she talked about it, my understanding was the biggest reason is that it was not sustainable. I don’t think the majority of the attendees come to the conference to get a door prize. I think they attend for the workshops and also to meet with other gardeners.
