Hi!<div><br /></div><div>Friendly reminder that <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/soil-stories-in-north-lawndale-volunteer-at-african-heritage-garden-tickets-633561468407">Soil Stories in North Lawndale: Volunteer at African Heritage Garden</a> is happening this coming Sunday, June 11th!</div><div><br /></div><div><img alt="Soil Stories in North Lawndale Volunteer at African Heritage Garden! (Insta).png" width="534px" height="534px" src="cid:f677e5f5-954a-4da5-95fa-a2787dfcf490" /><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>A few things to keep in mind and prepare for Sunday:</div><div><ul><li>It looks like there might be some rain showers throughout the day of Sunday so make sure to come dressed warmly and in protective shoes. We will have tents present to keep us nice and dry (unless a little rain dance feels appropriate to celebrate the rain after weeks without)! </li><li>If you have garden gloves, please bring them! We’re hoping to harvest, plant and weed at the end of the event. </li><li>Bring a bit of soil from a place that’s meaningful to you for the soil ceremony Dr. Martin will be leading us through.</li></ul>As a reminder: there isn’t an on-site bathroom at the garden but a neighbor has generously offered the use of their bathroom in case of emergency.<br /><br />We look forward to spending time with you on Sunday learning more about this beautiful garden!<br /><br />- The AUA Team<br /></div>
