<b>Rabb-Venable Program</b>, sponsored by the National Medical Association, supports the next generation of underrepresented medical students, residents, and fellows pursuing careers in ophthalmology. Over the past 25 years, the program has mentored hundreds
of future physicians and scientists, providing research training, leadership development, and a national platform for scholarly exchange.</span></p>

<b>Dr. Maurice Rabb, Jr.</b>, a longtime Chicago resident and pioneer in both ophthalmology and public health. Dr. Rabb served on the faculty at the
<b>University of Illinois at Chicago</b>, helped lead the <b>first sickle cell center in the Midwest</b>, and was deeply committed to medical education and health equity.</span></p>
