Hi Mamie,

Given the extension of the “Shelter in Place” restrictions until April 30,
we are struggling to figure out ways for people to begin gardening at the
Oasis, Kimball Avenue Church’s community garden. We were going to have a
garden clean-up and prep day for all of our gardeners on March 28, but we
obviously cancelled.

Are there guidelines for community gardens to follow? Are other community
gardens struggling with knowing how to proceed?

Any help or guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

BW, I really enjoyed the Spring Planting workshop on March 7. It was
excellent. Now, I’m disappointed that we haven’t been able to get anything
in the ground at this point.
