If we haven't sent out the newsletter yet, can we add an invitation on it so more people can fill it out?

If you have not already received this survey please consider completing it and possibly sharing it with fellow community gardeners. It is brief, easy to complete in 5 minutes or less and very important.

Hello, My name is Mayra Rodríguez and I am a graduate student under the mentorship of Dr. Brady Hardiman (https://www.purdue.edu/fnr/sites/hardiman/) in the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources at Purdue University. You are receiving this email because the contact information we are writing to was linked to a community garden in the Chicago area. In partnership with the Indiana Water Resources Research Center, we developed a survey that measures value, accessibility and usage of ecological goods in the Illinois and Northwestern Indiana communities of the Chicago Region as part of a larger ongoing project in our laboratory. In our survey, which has been distributed through email and social media, we asked respondents to suggest who else to contact. A common suggestion was community gardens, so we are reaching out for your help. We kindly request that you consider sharing our survey with your email contacts or in your social media (or that of your community garden, if applicable) to better target our audience of interest, residents of the Chicago region. Our goal is to use the findings from our survey to inform future greenspace planning and management of ecological goods in the area. The survey is available in both English and Spanish, and it should take no more than 20 minutes to complete. It can be accessed using the following links: English: https://purdue.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0DFc6HAYBPbez0F Spanish: https://purdue.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8B6PEDNIiViujJj We have also attached a promotional flyer that can be printed or shared through email and social media. The flyer contains shortened URLs and a QR code to the survey. If you are interested in learning more about the project or us, we are also happy to answer any of your questions or concerns. If you would like to revise the survey questions beforehand, we can provide you with a sample. Please let us know whether you would be interested in collaborating with us by sharing our links with your contacts. Also, feel free to take the survey yourself if you are interested. All responses from residents in these locations are welcomed! Thank you for your time and consideration, Mayra I.
