Good afternoon -

My name is Kirstin Grabski and I am the Operations Coordinator with Strengthening Chicago's Youth. I am reaching out to you regarding a DHS Wellness Series Project we are working on with a survivor-led intergenerational racial justice organization in Chicago, Communities United. This training series will be for youth and families in the Albany Park and Belmont Cragin communities on cross-cutting topics related to health, safety and wellness and my role is to identify trainers on various topics. Communities United would like to have a session on community gardening and we would like to see if you have any connections or interest around this topic.

The training would take place on Saturday, April 2 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am (approximately 80 minutes + 5 min break + 5 min for evaluations) at the Communities United's location (4600 W. Palmer St, Chicago). I acknowledge and apologize for the short turnaround time as well as the day of the week being a challenge, but let me know if you have any questions and I would be happy to jump on a call to discuss further.
