Hi Marsha,

I already met with the group in Chinatown on Saturday and they don't have
official permission to use the land yet.   I'm working to help them
determine who owns the site that they want to garden in.

So if you want, you can scratch them off your list...as I already explained
the process of getting a water hydrant permit, rpz, etc.  I also  advised
them that the hydrant route should be the last resort for water as the
hydrant is quite far from where they can set up garden beds and the most
expensive.  I'm working to see if we can get to them water inside the
garden area itself.

Most of the site is under the highway and in shade all the time.  So it's
only a small area where they can actually grow.
