Hello AUA Folks!
Happy Spring and hope everyone is doing well! A few updates for everyone
from the Urban Canopy:
1. We collect burlap from several coffee shops and love giving them away to
our AUA community. If you'd like some for FREE you're welcome to coordinate
a time to swing by our Pilsen warehouse to snag some...OR if you need bulk
(i.e. 100+ bags) we can swing by your location for FREE on Monday
afternoons, usually around 12p-2pm, and drop off a pallet or two. Please
let us know either way by emailing Compost at TheUrbanCanopy.org
2. We have finished compost ready to deliver. It's either $25 per 5-gallon
bucket from our Compost Club Public Shop
<https://members.theurbancanopy.org/shop/compost/> or you can sign up for
Compost Club home compostables pickup services
<https://www.theurbancanopy.org/residential-composting> and get FREE
finished compost as a member reward option. Use promo code *AUA25* to get
your first month FREE. Members also receive a discounted rate of $16 per
5-gallon bucket of finished compost. These prices include delivery and
assume you'll give us the buckets back. :)
3. If you're looking for bulk finished compost of 1-40 yards, we got you!
Email us at Compost at TheUrbanCanopy.org with questions or to coordinate a
bulk delivery. Rates are $17/cubic yard plus $400 delivery.
4. This month, for every new residential sign-up, we're donating $10
to the Chicago
Environmentalist <https://www.chicagoenvironmentalists.org/>. They are a
non-profit 501c3 that has created a supportive online community of nearly
7000 Chicagoans who care about the environment. Members can ask questions,
provide insight to fellow members, and hear about eco events, news,
legislation and more!
Kind Regards,
--The Urban Canopy
